Kia’s Sportage lineup has always
been about power and luxury. The mid-size SUV has been a fan favorite due to
its eye-catching looks and extreme performance. And, with the all-new 2017 Kia
Sportage model, the company makes yet another grand entrance in the mid-size SUV
market. It’s a lot more stylish, the overall shape is more aerodynamic to
reduce drag, and it comes with an SX turbo model, All-Wheel Drive model, and
Front Wheel Drive Model.
Old-School yet Charming Interior Switches
Not everyone is a fan of the new
push-button or touch switches, and Kia very well recognizes this. The fourth
generation model of the Kia Sportage comes with charming knobs for climate
functions, audio, and other tasks. The switches are much easier to use compared
to the standard touch systems. You no longer require precision to handle the
tasks.
Classy Interior
Of course, Kia never compromises
on the interior when it comes to the Sportage. This one is equipped with
climate-controlled seats and heated steering wheel for maximum comfort during
long drives. In addition, another major feature that stands out is the
Harman/Kardon audio system.
Power tailgate is also a part of
this model, which is usually found in most full-size SUVs.
Multiple Engine Options
The 2017 Kia Sportage comes with
two engine choices for buyers. The standard version comes with a 2.4 liter
engine that is capable of producing up to 175 lb-ft of torque and 181
horsepower. The second is a 2.0 liter turbocharged inline-engine producing up
to 260 lb-ft of torque and 240 horsepower.
