When the South Korean car company Kia redesigned the Forte compact sedan two years ago, they aimed for a fresh exterior design that would remain current for an extended period. As a result, the third generation Forte’s contemporary styling rivals competitors like the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic or Nissan Sentra. Crisp lines and angular fenders terminate at the rear taillights and a compact trunk lid. It’s a look that only accentuates the high value of the Forte in the compact car segment.
Inside, the Forte offers a combination of design textures and materials that offer ruggedness and refinement that will appeal to many consumers seeking a four door compact sedan. Built on a 106.3” wheelbase, the Forte is remarkable in being able to offer a similar level of technology and entertainment options as those same higher priced competitors throughout the Forte product line.
The majority of 2024 Kia Forte models (including the LX and LXS) are expected to use a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine, driving through the front wheels using a CVT transmission. Rated at 147 HP and 132 lb/ft of torque, EPA rates it at 30 city, 41 highway and 34 combined for the 2023 LX model on regular unleaded fuel. There is also a 1.6 GDI turbo model that offers 201 HP and 195 lb/ft of torque within the upscale Forte GT model line (with DCT and six-speed manual transmission options). The 2023 GT model was EPA rated at 27 city, 35 highway and 30 combined, and has Kia’s 10 year/100K mile powertrain warranty to back it up.
The 2024 Kia Forte offers a contemporary instrument panel with analog tach and speedometer in the driver console, giving the driver quick access to critical information. There’s also an available panoramic 10.25” navigation display that can show both performance and entertainment information. Safety remains a priority, as Kia Forte owners will get standard advanced safety equipment features, including highway lane keeping, cruise control and forward collision avoidance to detect pedestrians, bike riders and other cars in front of the vehicle. Rear cross traffic warning and safe exit warning will also issue an audible alarm if traffic or obstacles behind the Forte are detected. There are additional automated safety systems available with other trim options of the 2024 Kia Forte in Albuquerque NM.
What is the expected arrival of the 2024 Kia Forte in Albuquerque, NM?

That puts the Kia Forte squarely among the most affordable cars if you’re shopping in the compact sedan class segment.
