Kia, the South Korean automotive manufacturer, produces a wide range of SUVs with qualities that might appeal to customers who live and play in and around Santa Fe. But for large families, the 2025 Kia Telluride might be the ideal ride for those families seeking a versatile SUV with three row seating. The five door Telluride has options like all-wheel drive, which are always welcome to meet changing weather conditions in a high-altitude climate. It also comes with higher ground clearance for the occasional off-road foray, with built-in running boards to get everyone in and out without any drama. With seating up to eight, the Telluride uses a 291-HP direct-injected V6 engine running through an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard equipment and boasts up to a 5,500 pound towing capacity. Even with all that horsepower, fuel mileage figures are strong, with the EPA rating the AWD Telluride at 18 city, 24 highway, and 20 MPG overall on regular unleaded. Kia also offers the 2025 Telluride in front wheel drive versions, with EPA ratings for FWD at 20 cities, 26 highway, and 22 MPG overall. With an 18.8 gallon tank, there’s little need for any anxiety about how far you can go. Riding on a 114.2” wheelbase the Telluride offers a stable and comfortable ride, with a full 8.0” of ground clearance.
The styling of the Telluride continues to be crisp and futuristic for a two box design. We expect Kia will continue to offer the 2025 Telluride in three basic trim levels, but with AWD or FWD versions, the total number of available models is expected to be around ten. Standard on all of them are LED projection beam headlights, safe exit warning and no less than nine airbags (with two of them mounted on the second row outboard seats). Judged to be among the safest cars on the road, the Kia Telluride earned the IIHS Top Safety Pick for accident avoidance. As expected, safety is a priority and 17 different driver assistance technologies are available within different trim packages. Other entertainment technology include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a 12.3” dual panoramic display that is spread horizontally across the futuristic dashboard. This large three row SUV also has no less than eight USB charge ports spread throughout the cabin. We expect the Telluride will start in the neighborhood of $36,000, but final pricing was not available at press time. The Kia Telluride remains a tour de force in the 2024 Kia SUV lineup.
When Will the 2025 Kia Telluride near Santa Fe, NM Arrive?
It’s somewhat ironic that the nameplate of the 2025 Kia Telluride is derived from a town in southwest Colorado set in the San Juan mountains. But the Telluride was designed and built to just as easily meet the challenges of thriving in a northern New Mexico town surrounded by the Sandia mountains! Each of the 2025 Kia Telluride near Santa Fe NM models are designed to meet the expectations and needs of their particular families, whether residing in Santa Fe or simply driving through that part of New Mexico. One thing that remains a constant is Kia’s ten year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Together with the five year, 60,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, there’s no better warranty available in the automotive market today. So, if you’re in the market for an eight-passenger SUV like the Toyota Highlander, Jeep Grand Cherokee or Honda Pilot, it might be a great time to look at this 2025 Kia Telluride near Santa Fe NM. While there’s no definitive date of when the 2025 Telluride will begin to arrive, we expect there will be an abundance of choices at the Fiesta Kia dealership in Albuquerque at 7400 Lomas Blvd NE any day now!
