The 2025 Kia K4 in Albuquerque, NM will be an all-new member of the Kia lineup and it’s coming soon to Fiesta Kia! Although its official launch date has yet to be confirmed, it’s expected to arrive sometime in the fall of this year. The K4 will replace the highly regarded Forte sedan and slot under the midsize K5 sedan. The K4 promises an athletic exterior, borrowing from the K5 and now-retired Stinger sedans, giving the K4 a more aggressive stance than the Forte. The brand-new K4 will come with a fastback roofline and distinctive rear fenders for a sporty appearance. Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming Kia K4.
Trim Levels and Pricing
Taking notes from the outgoing Forte, the completely new K4 will give Albuquerque drivers five trims to choose from: LX, LXS, EX, GT-Line, and GT-Line Turbo. Like the Forte, the K4 is expected to start at an affordable $22,000, increasing to around $30,000 for the top-tier model, though firm numbers have yet to be released.
Power and Performance
Most versions of the new K4 will be powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that will be good for 147 horsepower/132 lb-ft of torque, and it will work with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with front-wheel drive. For drivers who desire more oomph, a more robust 1.6-liter turbo-four delivering 190 hp/195 lb-ft of torque will be offered in the Top GT-Line Turbo trim, mated to a traditional 8-speed automatic transmission. The GT-Line Turbo will also be engineered with a more advanced multi-link rear suspension, while all other K4 models will be equipped with a torsion beam suspension system.
Fuel economy numbers are unknown at this time, but we expect numbers similar to the Forte, possibly around 30/40 MPG city/highway.
