The ICE Sorento was given a midcycle refresh for 2024, which brought a restyled front and rear end, interior upgrades, and new paint and upholstery options. A faux skidplate at the back adds extra toughness in the looks department. The 2025 hybrid and PHEV Sorento models have now received the same styling and cabin upgrades as the gas-powered models, meaning all versions of the Sorento now have the updated multimedia infotainment system (with a 12.3-inch touchscreen as standard) that integrates wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto no matter which trim level you choose.

If you want the top-tier X-Pro trim, it comes only with the turbo-four, plus a center-locking differential, fatter, all-terrain tires, and 17-inch wheels. 

 

Interior Comfort and Convenience

Soft-touch materials, an attractive layout, and solid build quality highlight the Sorento’s interior. A clean and uncluttered dashboard features the 12.3-inch infotainment screen and incorporates two upright air vents on either end. Double stitched door panel surfaces and seat inserts, along with ambient lighting, lend an upscale feel to the cabin, and an assortment of cupholders and storage space add to its practicality. 

A pair of captain’s chairs can be traded out for the second row bench seat for a posher look, but if you need the most room, keep the bench, as the third row is best left for children- adults may feel cramped. With the seats in all rows in the upright position, there is 13 cubic feet of cargo space, 39-45 cubes behind the second row (depending on seat configuration), and 76 cubic feet with the middle and rear seats folded.

A curved panoramic display includes the infotainment screen and a 4.3-inch digital instrument cluster, but the higher trims swap it for a larger 12.3-inch configurable gauge display. Besides smartphone integration, the Sorento offers a wireless charging pad, a back-seat entertainment system, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
