Kia is expected to start shipments in the second half of the year and with a highly competitive compact class, pricing is expected to stay low unless tariffs reach new highs. Since the K4 has no domestic competition (most American car manufacturers abandoned the sedan market years ago), there’s hope any tariffs will be negligible. What is known is that Kia plans to continue positioning the 2026 Kia K4 squarely among the most affordable cars in the compact segment and increase their market share in this key area.
