 In July of 2021, a heavily camouflaged prototype of the updated Kia Telluride was seen, and speculation began as to what changes were coming. Since then, there hasn’t been any news about the award-winning SUV except for a trademark filing which hints that a new X-Pro trim may be in the works. However, the internet is abuzz with recent test model spy shots that reveal more details. 

Spy Shots Show Exterior Changes

So what are some of the updates in store for the 2023 Kia Telluride in Albuquerque, NM? The most noticeable change from the circulating photos is at the front, with new LED daytime running lights. As a result, the turn signals also have a new look, and the entire vertical layout of the lighting setup is much enhanced by the changes. The rectangular DRLs of the current model Telluride are gone, and two parallel strips of light have replaced them, on top of which the main headlights rest.

The familiar honeycomb pattern can be seen through the mesh of the disguise, but it’s arranged vertically on the redesigned grille rather than horizontally.
