How Does the 2024 Ford Bronco Compare to the Kia Telluride near Rio Rancho NM

If you’re shopping for a new vehicle and are considering an SUV, the choices are seemingly endless! Each one has advantages and disadvantages, and it’s overwhelming when you begin comparing. We at Fiesta Kia want to help, so we’ve compiled a quick comparison of the 2024 Ford Bronco near Rio Rancho, NM to the Kia Telluride. To keep things simple, we’ll pit the base four-door Bronco against the base Telluride LX.

2024 Ford Bronco: Performance

First, if you’re serious about off-roading, and we mean hard-core, the Bronco is undoubtedly your best bet next to the Jeep Wrangler. These two models are true 4×4 vehicles made for conquering extremely rough terrain. But if you’re like most of us, you’d probably like something that grips better in inclement weather and can handle a woodland camping trail or a backcountry road while still feeling refined on the pavement. If this sounds like you, then the Telluride will steal the show.

The base Kia Telluride comes in front-wheel drive, but you can upgrade to all-wheel drive, and no matter which you prefer, you’ll get a 3.8-liter V6 under the hood. To get a V6 in the Bronco, you’ll pay an extra $1895. And even with the inline 4-cylinder, the Ford Bronco gets the same fuel economy (20 mpg) for city driving as the Kia Telluride and LESS for highway driving (21 mpg Bronco, 26 mpg Telluride)!

If you want to tow a small camping trailer or boat, the Kia Telluride is good for 5,000 pounds, while the Bronco has a towing capacity of only 3500 pounds.

What’s more, in the actual driving and handling of the two vehicles, the Kia Telluride boasts a smooth and refined ride comparable to more expensive luxury models. The Bronco handles well, but passengers may complain about the rough feel.

Roominess and Comfort

Speaking of passengers, the Bronco has two rows that will fit four adults, with the addition of one more making things slightly cramped. The Kia Telluride will comfortably accommodate up to eight adults, thanks to its three rows of seating and ample cargo space. It is about two feet longer than the Bronco, which obviously helps to make the Telluride more spacious. It also gives the second and third-row passengers more room to stretch out, with more head and leg room than the Bronco.

But the extra volume isn’t what makes the Telluride so comfortable. You will be amazed at the plush interior when you get into this award-winning SUV. Upper trims rival much higher-priced vehicles, and even the base LX trim comes with premium synthetic upholstery, while the base Bronco offers only cloth seats. Superior materials cover the inside surfaces of the Telluride, whereas the Bronco has cheaper feeling plastics.

You’ll also get a wealth of comfort amenities in the Telluride that you won’t find in the 2024 Ford Bronco near Rio Rancho, NM. Climate control, a navigation system, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, multi-zone and rear A/C, and adaptive cruise control are all standard on the Telluride LX but not the base Bronco.

A Money Saver

Along with all the extra room and amenities, the Kia Telluride has a lower price point of $35,890, while the base four-door Bronco starts at $38,040. Adding to the better cost all around is the warranty. The basic warranty for the Telluride is 5 years/60,000 miles compared to the 3 years/36,000 miles warranty of the Bronco.

Drop by Fiesta

As you can see, the Telluride outdoes the Bronco in many areas. But to really see how enjoyable the Telluride is, you need to get up close. We invite you to visit us at the dealership of Fiesta Kia located at 7400 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, and take this incredible SUV for a test drive.
